Hyperbaric Chamber Acrylics

This comprehensive eight-hour course is designed to train chamber operators and maintenance technicians in the nuances of proper inspection, care, and documentation of acrylic viewing surfaces (view-ports) for Class A, B, & C, pressure vessels.

Classroom instruction is complimented by an equal amount of hands-on lab work including an opportunity to train utilizing state-of-the-art optical micrometers and various types of cleaning and polishing compounds. Facilities who do not have the resources to own an optical micrometer are able to rent these devices from CARIBBEAN HYPERBARIC MEDICINE, INC. (subject to availability) as long as their CHM trained Acrylic Inspector conducts the inspection.

Caribbean Hyperbaric Medicine’s Inspection,Documentation & Maintenence of Hyperberic Chamber Acrylic course has been reviewed and approved by the ACHM (American College of Hyperbaric Medicine) and the NBDHMT (National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology) for 5 Category “A” CEU’s. This course is approved until March 31st 2015.
